Summer Grave Decoration Guidelines

Please note : Beginning Monday of the week of March 15th, July15th , September 15th and Nov. 15th will be seasonal cleanup throughout the week. Every section will be cleared of all decorations for major clean up and trimming. Please be sure to visit at least 7 days prior to these dates if you wish to retrieve any items. Those left will be disposed. These dates are subject to change, please check the parish bulletin for additional information.

Please be sure not to bring anything glass, valuable or treasured family items to the as we can not assure their safe return.

During the summer months only fresh cut or silk flowers are permitted NO Plastic, Wire, Balloons or other artificial decorations are permitted March 15th to Nov. 15th.

Potted plants are permitted for one week after special holidays, Easter, Mothers and Fathers Days, Memorial Day,4th July, Labor Day.

SHEPHERD’S HOOKS are not permitted on graves at anytime.

Winter Grave Decoration Guidelines

Winter Decorations Are Allowed After Nov. 15th And will Remain Until the week of March 15th Clean Up (Weather Permitting). Please Visit at least 7 days Prior To These Dates If You Wish To Retrieve Any Item. Those Left Behind Will All Be Disposed.

Please Do Not Bring Anything Glass, Or Valued Family Treasured Items To The , As We Can Not Assure The Return Of Anything Left In The .

SHEPHERDS HOOKS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANYTIME.

Bronze vases in markers must be turned from Nov. 1st through the week of March 15th to avoid winter breakage.

Children Under 16 MUST Be Accompanied By An Adult.

When there is any doubt about a decoration please check at the office prior to placing it to avoid disappointment later.

    RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. Each burial must have a vault.
  2. Only one monument is allowed for each plot. Military markers are intended to mark a grave of a veteran whose grave would not otherwise be marked. In the new section they will not be permitted as foot markers.
  3. Specifications for each monument must be submitted to the Cemetery office for approval by the cemetery superintendent.
  4. No corner posts, enclosures, concrete block or brick borders are allowed. Any fences will be removed without prior notification. Glass jars, vases, ornaments, decorations or marble chips), trinkets, toys, votive lights, statues, and artificial flowers NOT PERMANENTLY ATTACHED TO THE BASE OF THE HEADSTONE MONUMENT ARE PROHIBITED. THE CEMETERY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISAPPEARANCE OF, OR DAMAGE TO, ANY SUCH ARTICLES PLACED ON GRAVES, IN DISREGARD OF THIS REGULATION.
  5. Plantings on graves are not permitted. Only fresh flower plants in their own pots will be permitted. (No urns or planters)
  6. No shrubs or trees are to be planted on any grave. Shrubs already planted in the older sections of the cemetery will be trimmed (if family of the deceased does not tend to it) so as to be lower than the height of the monument and not encroach upon or extend over another monument. Removal and trimming of shrubs not in compliance with these Rules and Regulations will be at the cemetery’s discretion. Water faucets, where available, must be completely shut off after use.
  7. All rubbish must be placed in barrels provided in the cemetery.
  8. During the winter, because of frozen ground, snow, mud disruption of other graves, etc., it may be necessary to place bodies in our Crypt until in-ground burial at a later time.
  9. Please do not bring anything glass, or valued family treasured items to the , as we can not assure the return of anything left in the .
  10. No decorative rocks, stone’s or Mulch permitted around any memorials. No Digging or planting is permitted in the by families.
  11. When there is any doubt about a grave decoration, please check at the office before placing it to avoid possible disappointment later.

  13. The management reserves, and shall have the right to correct any errors made by the either in making interments, removals, or entombments or setting of markers or monuments, and assumes no liability other than the necessary cost of making the correction.
